1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how KeySay ("we," "our," or "us") handles information in connection with the KeySay mobile application ("App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy is intended to help you understand what data the App uses and how it is handled.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information.

KeySay is a productivity tool that operates entirely on your device. All data you create or store within the App remains on your device at all times. We do not have access to any of this data, and it is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

3. Data Storage

All content and settings are stored locally on your device, along with any speech models you download. We do not use cloud storage, remote databases, or any external servers to store your data. If you delete the App, all locally stored data will be removed from your device in accordance with your operating system's standard uninstall process.

4. Purchases and Subscriptions

KeySay is available as a one-time purchase or as an auto-renewing subscription. Both are sold and processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using your Apple ID. We never receive your name, email address, payment details, or Apple ID.

The App checks your purchase or subscription status directly with Apple so it knows which features to unlock. This information is not sent to us. Apple's handling of your payment information is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

You can view, change, or cancel a subscription at any time in the Settings app on your iPhone under your name, then Subscriptions.

5. Optional Speech Model Downloads

KeySay includes OpenAI's Whisper speech model. You can also choose to download an additional speech model, Phonon-2, from within the App. When you do, the App downloads the model file over the internet. No audio, text, or personal information is sent as part of this download, although, as with any download, the service hosting the file may receive standard technical information such as your IP address.

Once downloaded, Phonon-2 runs entirely on your device, just like Whisper. Your speech is never sent anywhere, whichever model you use.

6. Data Sharing

Because we do not collect any data, we do not share, sell, rent, or trade any personal information with third parties. There are no advertising networks, analytics services, or data brokers involved in the operation of this App.

7. User Accounts

KeySay does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number to use the App. Purchases and subscriptions use your existing Apple ID, which we never see.

8. Children's Privacy

KeySay does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected or transmitted, the App poses no privacy risk to users of any age.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
